I aimed to create a gritty composition and animation in reference to the word "production" in my quote. Through my piece, I looked to convey a down-to-earth tone that alluded to hands-on creation and analog methods of production (linocut/woodcut, hand-drawn animation, etc). Furthermore, I looked to create a bright and tightly-packed atmosphere to convey the energy of the Philadelphia neighborhood from which my background was drawn.
